BURUNDI LIAISON LEADING THE WAY TO BURUNDI

DR. RACHAEL SCHWEIGER, LIAISON FOR BURUNDI AND
CALEB ORAZIO, YOUNG AMBASSADORS INTERNATIONAL

Dr. Rachael Schweiger, Burundi liaison for Dr. Clyde Rivers,
Ambassador at large for Republic of Burundi, believes the youth play a vital role
in the success of the Republic of Burundi’s future. Working towards that goal, Dr.
Schweiger has been mentoring Young Ambassadors International whose
objectives are the same. Caleb Orazio, Co-Founder and Executive Director of
Young Ambassadors International, says, “We are a growing global network of
young leaders that strive to mentor, inspire, and bring creative solutions to fellow
youth.” To date, Mr. Orazio and Young Ambassadors International have worked
in seven African nations, partnering with nonprofit organizations and international
governments to develop, train, and empower the next generation of leaders. “Do
to Young Ambassadors International’s experience and heart to help the youth of
Burundi,” commented Dr. Schweiger, “I’m very excited to help them bring
effective and needed projects into Burundi.” Successful projects such as these
will help propel Burundi and its people to the top!

DR. RIVERS’ ADVISOR RECEIVES HONORARY DEGREE FROM INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

It was an exciting day for the Republic of Burundi, Africa as a Top Advisor, Dr. Rachael Schweiger, was presented an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities by Kayiwa International University on June 4, 2011. Dr. Schweiger created a critical communication program that aids developing countries in conflict resolution. She has taught this program internationally and it is being used globally. Ambassador At Large for the Republic of Burundi, Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “Dr. Schweiger has excellent strategies in the communication program to aid countries in peaceful conflict resolution which is matched by her willingness to help others.” Kayiwa International University recognized Dr. Schweiger’s humanitarian work and took this extraordinary measure to bestow such an honor to someone outside of Africa. Dr. Schweiger commented, “I am privileged to receive such a prestigious award and I see this as an opportunity to make an even greater difference in the world.”
