| Dr. Vicki Harris |
Dr. Vicki Harris, Vice President of Human Resources for RBC
Ministries, traveled this summer, 2014, with a delegation to the Republic of
Burundi, Africa.
The Burundi Youth Coalition in Action hosted the delegation. Dr.
Harris said, "In a country that has historically dealt with unrest, our
American delegation felt extremely safe and welcomed by the people in this
beautiful country. This was truly a life changing visit."
What Dr. Harris discovered as she attended the National Youth
Conference, led by the Burundi Youth Coalition in Action was amazing to this
delegate. She said, "The youth in this organization are very well trained,
polite and orderly. They demonstrated such excellence and team spirit in
everything they handled. I was thoroughly impressed with their level of
character. I have not seen youth like this in any other country I've visited.
The opening of several Training Centers was a special highlight for me."
