On Tuesday 19th, April 2011, during her meeting with 281 youth from the Capital city of Bujumbura, in the premises of d’Odéon Palace, Her Excellency the First Lady of Burundi, Mrs. Denise Nkurunziza, invited Burundian youth to give value to their existence and do their best on earth.
In her teaching, Mrs. Denise Nkurunziza reminded participants that they were not created by hazard. “Each person was created for a specific purpose with the ability and capacity to serve his/her nation. Only sin can deprive man from peace and joy. Since our nation needs youth with a highly acceptable moral standard, flee from sin, get exercised into righteousness, and to the best practices of leadership to prepare a happy future for yourselves and your country in general,” said Mrs. Nkurunziza.
The First Lady of the State concluded her teaching advising the youth to resist any misleading influence of the body and companion in order to invest their strengths, means and time into mutual help, self-help and development activities.
